Russian stocks may grow on improved moods on oil market

MOSCOW, Jun 22 (PRIME) -- Russian stocks may moderately grow at the opening on Friday amid improved moods on the oil market and a mixed foreign background, analysts said.

“We expect the MOEX Russia Index to open with a moderate increase of around 0.3%, in the range of 2,250–2,255 points,” Vitaly Manzhos, senior risk manager at investment company Nord Capital, said. The nearest support levels will be 2,240 and 2,230 points, while 2,260 and 2,270 points will act as resistance.

Before the start of trading in Russia, the U.S. stock index futures moderately grew within 0.3%, Brent oil futures added 1.1%, gold futures lost 0.05%, Japan’s Nikkei225 fell 0.9%, and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng decreased 0.2%.
